Dr. Hartel AND his staff are really great to my family. The dental care is the best possible, the response rate is always fast, emergencies are taken care of quickly, and they're really great people. I am not one to take great care of my teeth and they never preach or over reach. They are always classy in their reminders of how I could do a better job at home care. I appreciate that. Mostly, its the great dental care. I just haven't found any better in 25 years here in Saint Louis. And Dr. Hartel, if you are reading this, I cannot tell you enough how after Merediths accident, you saved her smile. I am eternally grateful.

An excellent dentist in every way. He does an excellent job in preventative dentistry, because I have a problem with plaque buildup. He has also extracted two wisdom teeth and installed two crowns which blended perfectly with my other teeth.

About Hygienist: Dr. Hartel has several hygienists, but for five years I have used Carolyn Perlongo, who does an excellent job of removing plaque and protecting my gums. She is gentle and quite interested in my welfare.

About Hygienist: Robin is a wonderful hygienist. I have known her the longest. She does an excellent cleaning job and explains thoroughly how to care for your teeth. She, too, has a great personality which makes for a pleasant experience. My daughter loves her!

I have gone to Dr. Hartel for my dental work since shortly before he established his practice. I trust him implicitly, and feel much affection for him. Visiting his office is, for me, like dropping in one of my family members. I go at least four times a year, and would not go to another dentist unless he was no longer in practice. There is no sense in my gushing and going on and on about Dr. Hartel...............but I could easily, because I certainly am that enthusiastic about him and his dentistry.

Dr. Hartel is one of the most competent, professional, and skilled dentists I've ever gone to. He is very thorough, takes concerns seriously, and has been successful at treating every problem I've had (including ongoing changes in my tooth sensitivity). He's been honest about what I do and don't need, such as only replacing old fillings he really thought had problems. He and his entire staff are also very friendly and easy to work with, and the office decor has a theme in each room (e.g., baseball) that gives you something to focus your attention on during the dental procedures. Overall, an A+ rating.

About Hygienist: Hygienist is so great that I now set my appointments so I can always have the same one that I first worked with.

Dr. Hartel is generally good. I've had three times teeth cleaning with him. Although I didn't have much direct contact with him in person, the assistant and facility, also the service were good. I'm satisfied.

My mother, sister and brother-in-law have gone to Dr. Hartel for at least 10 years. When I returned from the military, he became my dentist as well and knew all about me and my daughter through my mother's stories through the years.

The hygienists are super nice and it's like walking into the middle of a happy family. He's a great dentist and I love sparring with him when I'm not getting my teeth cleaned!

I have bad teeth and when my previous dentist retired it was traumatic. I was lucky to get a referral to Dr. Hartel. I have spent many hours with him in the past year and he is pleasant, patient and very upbeat and a talented doctor.

I have a new lower bridge in the front that looks better than my old teeth! It was very complex (with an implant holding it in) and he did an excellent job.
