I needed a night guard since I grind my teeth. The process was simple and I am extremely happy with my new night guard. It is so small that I don't even know it's there, but it definitely prevents me from grinding my teeth together. The night guard is very comfortable as well.

I have had several regular cleanings, 2 crowns, and a few fillings from Dr. Spalitto. So far all my treatments have been successful. His chair-side manner is excellent and he and his staff always make me feel comfortable and well-informed on all my procedures. Their office seems to have the latest technology, and I even get to watch movies with headphones during long procedures. They always seem to be running on time no matter what time my appointment is at, and the front office staff is very helpful with insurance matters and scheduling. I also really like the e-mail and text message appointment reminders. As far as cost is concerned, major restorative seems expensive, but I assume it is everywhere--I don't really have anything to compare to. It definitely makes a difference now that I have insurance. But all things considered I would definitely recommend West County Dental to friends and family.

I thought my teeth were OK when I arrived from the UK; I had regular check-ups at our then local NHS (National Health Service) Dentist. How wrong I was? Dr. Spalitto undertook a very through examination of my mouth. He discovered that I had a bacterial infection that was eroding the bone around one tooth. This was dealt with very quickly and guess what my bad breath disappeared. We agreed a detailed treatment plan with cost clearly laid out. Two years later my teeth are in the best of health. My whole family is treated by Pete who recommended at great orthodontist for our son. The staff members are friendly, helpful and above all professional. I would not hesitate to book an appointment at this practice and start the road to a healthier mouth.

About Hygienist: I did have a problem with gum erosion, under the guidance of the hygienist my brushing and flossing habits were modified, along with regular visits for a professional clean. My gums are now healthy. The treatment is very professional and friendly.

Janie is quick to admit that she 'loves her power tools'! She certainly is talented in using them! She is consistent with checking on you during your procedure to make sure you are doing okay or need a break. She loves her work, is dedicated to doing it right...taking pride in what she does. She is so friendly that you feel like you've known her forever! Definitely a people-person with a talent for teeth!

The tension rose in our home after discovering it was necessary to change our family dentist. Dr. Spalitto and his staff took me in as an emergency client and treated me without waiting for insurance or "appointment" openings. He treated a tooth that was in serious need of care and assured that I was comfortable throughout the procedure. His staff is nothing short of amazing!! But the most significant change Dr. Spalitto brought to us was when I brought my teenage daughter for her check-up he made a personal agreement with her regarding improving her dental care. I never believed he could convince her - but whatever he said has got her brushing , flossing and LOVING her smile!! I inherited Dr. Pete Spalitto as he took over responsibilities for the previous dental practice. I was very happy before Dr. Spalitto and was weary of a new younger dentist, but I must say the military has trained him well and must have given him access to all the latest-and-greatest technology as it seems as though he has brought several positive upgrades along with him... The technology upgrades since he has owned the practice have been awesome - the things that he can show you about your teeth and gums is amazing. The physical building has also been completely remodeled, which makes for a clean, new, and relaxing feel. In the many years I've been going to west county dental it just seems to be getting better with every visit.

About Hygienist: Jaynie is the newest addition to the team (joining in 01/2009) and today was my first cleaning from her. I hope she's my hygienist for years to come. I actually "inherited Dr. Spalitto for my dentist as my original dentist retired and Dr. Spalitto took over his practice. I was nervous since I am very picky about my dentist - I've spent lots of time in dentists chairs and I don't want to feel any pain or anything. Well, I worried unnecessarily.....Dr. Spalitto is wonderful!! He tells me what he's doing, checks to be sure I'm OK.......especially if my eyes widen or eyebrows go up!! And I don't feel a thing. He takes very good care of me. He's very personable, friendly and truly cares. He takes an interest in his patients and remembers you, your family. job, etc, In fact the entire office is great.........very nice, friendly, professional; they know what customer service is all about! In fact you all go over and above which is a rare find in this day. My daughter broke a tooth and ended up needing a crown. I brought her in and they took care of her immediately.
