My mother is 56 years old. She has never seen dr in her life. She is scared of seeing a physisican. My birth was natrual at home in India. Since last 10 years mom has developed a lump like which I think !!!! is mandibuluar Torus. She developed this hard lump looking thing about 10 years ago when she got partial dentures and I think the partial denture rubed and created the lesion which is now big , hard, infected and smells. I have been able to convience her to see a Dr who can get her treated but have no idea where to start ... You must remember that it has taken 10 years to convience her. She can't eat .. she can't eat.. he only eats food that is soft and that also is difficult. She is in lot of pain and now embarrassed to see dr. Please help me.
