Case Description
I am 28 yrs. old, just moved to St. Louis. I was born without 21 of my permanent teeth. I need a combination of procedures, and have been told insurance will not cover this. This problem has affected me in such a negative way, I just want to have a smile to be proud of. I have had 2 opinions prior to moving out here, and now have to start all over. An office with in house payment plans would be helpful, as 1 of my quotes was $20,000 and the other was upwards of $40-$50,000. If there is anyone who could offer advice, I need someone very qualified to make me beautiful! Thank you..

When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

I would have to see you in person in order to give you any sort of opinion/estimate. Prices vary depending on what you what done i.e. something removeable, implants, fixed bridges, etc. Feel free to call my office at 314-567-5612 to set up a consulation. My office is in Creve Coeur (Just south of Olive off of Ballas Road). Thank you.Jeff Dalin, DDS

There are many competent dentists in St. Louis who would be happy to discuss your complex needs and offer options to get you what you want. I''''d suggest that you consider the following:You are very young and should be considering the fact that you need to preserve the beauty of your face and smile for 70 or 80 years. Choices that you make now will affect your chewing comfort and the looks of your face for a long time.Your treatment needs might involve a team of dentists.I would arrange financing with an expert in finance, not a dentist. There are few expert dentists in town who are also expert bankers. A loan of 20 to 50 thousand dollars for dental services is a long term commitment, as you well know. Better consult an expert in this area too.Begin with the end in mind. Be sure that you understand all the steps in the restoration of your smile before you begin. Take charge of your treatment. Gather all of the diagnostic records that you have had from your previous dentists to be able to provide as much information as possible to the consulting dentist.Best of luck to you.
